High altitude hunting adds to the challenge of the elk hunt but the novice hunter needs to be prepared for a successful hunt. Elk prefer to stay in the high country until the snows move them to winter range, so the early season hunter must learn some new skills for the high country hunt. Join Justin Gindelsperger as he discusses some of the challenges and preparation needed to hunt high country elk this fall.
