Eufaula: June 6. Elevation 3 ft. above normal, water 79 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits flipping the flooded timber. White bass good on jigs at 6-10 ft. around bridges. Blue catfish fair on a variety of baits at 3-8 ft. in rocky areas. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 8-20 ft. in standing timber and boat docks. Hugo: June 7. Elevation normal, water 73. Largemouth bass and white bass fair trolling crankbaits along the river channel. Crappie fair to good on minnows over brush piles. Konawa: June 6. Elevation normal, water 86 and clear. Largemouth bass good on Carolina-rigged plastic worms at 10-12 ft. along road beds and points. Channel catfish good on chicken liver at 5-10 ft. in coves. Report by Daryl Howser, game warden stationed in Seminole County.
McGee Creek: June 7. Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal, water 85 and clear. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 8-12 ft. around cedar brush, off main creek channels. Largemouth bass good on dark colored soft plastic lures, spinnerbaits and topwater lures early and late in shallow water. Channel catfish fair on juglines and trotlines with live bait. Murray: June 7. Elevation normal, water 73-73 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good to excellent on various baits early and late. White bass good on topwater lures trolling during the day. Channel catfish good on worms and stinkbait with juglines, trotlines and rod and reels. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-20 ft. around structure. Pine Creek: June 7. Elevation normal, water clear. Bass good on watermelon colored jigs around points. Catfish good on cut shad. Crappie fair on minnows around the half bridge. Robert S. Kerr: June 8. Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 83 and murky. Largemouth bass good on soft plastics and spinnerbaits along shorelines. Catfish good on juglines and trotlines with shad, cut bait and night crawlers. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around submerged brush structure. Sardis: June 5. Elevation normal, water 86 and slightly murky. Largemouth bass good on soft plastics, crankbaits and worms. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait and stinkbait with juglines, trotlines and rod and reel. Flathead catfish good on sunfish. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 10-12 ft. Texoma: June 6. Elevation normal, water 82 and mostly clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on spinnerbaits, shad colored crankbaits and plastic combination baits at 5-15 ft. around riprap and underwater structure. Striped and white bass good on live bait, sassy shad and surface lures at 5-20 ft. from Alberta Creek to Burns run to the south and the Islands west. Channel and blue catfish good on worms, stinkbait and live bait at 5-20 ft. from the Hwy 70 bridge north and Platter Flats south. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 5-15 ft. around the fishing dock with brush. Paddlefish fair to good below the dam. Sunfish good on worms at 5-10 ft. around the fishing docks. Wister: June 7. Elevation normal, water 81 and murky. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits, worms and jigs. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around structure. SOUTHWEST
Altus-Lugert: June 5. Elevation 5 3/4 ft. below normal and rising steadily. Crappie good. White bass fair. Walleye good Hicks Mtn. Report submitted by Sue Hokanson, Quartz Mountain State Park.
Foss: June 7. Elevation 1/4 ft. below normal with one gate open 1 ft., water 70s and clear. Striped bass hybrids slow to fair on live bait in deep water. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B & K Bait House.
Tom Steed: June 8. Elevation 3 ft. below normal, water 75 and slightly muddy. Catfish good on cut bait near islands and west side of the lake. Report submitted by David Smith, game warden stationed in Kiowa County.
Waurika: June 5. Elevation slightly above normal with gates closed, water 82 and clear to murky. White bass and striped bass hybrids good on jigs and trolling crankbaits early and late and around Wichita Ridge bridge at sundown. Blue catfish good on cut shad and stinkbait around windy points, shorelines and off the rocks at Wichita Ridge bridge at sundown and fair on juglines with cut shad and shrimp in the lake.
