Channel catfish fair along drop-offs near creek and river channels on worms, shrimp and cut bait... Flathead catfish fair to good on trotlines with goldfish or bluegill. Noodling will pick up when the lake gets closer to normal water level. White bass, striped bass and striped bass hybrids being caught on bucktails, sassy shad and drifting live bait below the dam during water release. Eufaula: June 22. Elevation 3 ft. above normal and rising, water 81 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on plastic bait around flooded brush. White bass good on jigs at 6-10 ft. around bridges. Blue catfish good on a variety of baits at 4-10 ft. in rocky areas. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-20 ft. around bridges and standing timber. Hugo: June 20. Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 80. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 8-15 ft. around brush. Catfish fair on juglines with shad and sunfish. Blue catfish fair on cut bait below the dam. Report submitted by Jay Harvey, game warden stationed in Choctaw County.
Konawa: June 22. Elevation normal, water 92 and clear. Largemouth bass good on plastic worms and topwater lures at 5-8 ft. in weed beds. Channel catfish good on stinkbaits at 8-10 ft. around points. Report by Daryl Howser, game warden stationed in Seminole County.
Lower Mt. Fork: June 22. Fishing has been good on a weighted fly on the bottom. It is possible that you could get some dry fly action, very early and very late in the day. Some sporadic hatches of our famous Hexagenia mayflies have been occurring. Report submitted by Sid www.beaversbendflyshop.com.
McGee Creek: June 20. Elevation normal, water 85 and clear. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 8-12 ft. around cedar brush, off main creek channels. Largemouth bass good on dark colored soft plastic lures, spinnerbaits and top water lures early and late in shallow water. Schooling largemouth bass are starting to hit some in open water early and late on topwater baits. Channel catfish fair on juglines and trotlines on live bait. Murray: June 22. Elevation normal, water 75 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good early and late. White bass good schooling in the south end of the lake early and late. Robert S. Kerr: June 22. Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 85. Largemouth bass fair on soft baits and spinnerbaits at 2-5 ft. Catfish fair on juglines and trotlines with stinkbait, cut bait and night crawlers. Crappie good on minnows and jigs around submerged brush piles. Sardis: June 20. Elevation normal, water 83 and murky. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits, crankbaits and spinnerbaits at 12-14 ft. midday and on frogs in the grass early and late. Texoma: June 20. Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 82 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on deep diving crankbaits and some surface lures at 5-15 ft. in the creek channels. Striped and white bass good on live bait, sassy shad and slabs and some surface baits at 5-25 ft. from Catfish bay to Caney Creek. Channel and blue catfish good on live bait, stinkbait and worms at 5-15 ft. from the Hwy 70 bridge to the south. Crappie fair to good on minnows and jigs at 5-15 ft. around the fish attractors. Wister: June 20. Elevation normal, water 83 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits, worms and jigs. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around structure. Blue catfish slow to fair on cut shad and stinkbait around windy shorelines and points and on juglines with cut shad and shrimp.
