Sardis: July 17. Elevation normal, water 85 and murky. Largemouth bass good on buzzbaits, topwater lures and swim baits early and late. White bass fair on minnows and jigs in deep water in creek channels. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait and stinkbait. Flathead catfish good on live bait. Texoma: July 18. Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 84 and clear south and murky to muddy north. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair to good on surface lures, deep diving crankbaits and plastic combination baits at 5-20 ft. in the creek channels and around riprap. Striped and white bass fair to good on surface lures, live bait, sassy shad and slabs at 5-30 ft. in the river channels from Platter Flats to the south and west. Channel and blue catfish fair to good on worms, cut baits and live bait at 5-20 ft. from Alberta Creek to the north. Crappie fair on minnows at 10-20 ft. around the fish attractors and fishing docks with brush. Sunfish good on worms at 5-10 ft. from the fishing docks and around riprap. Wister: July 19. Elevation normal, water 85 and murky. Largemouth bass fair on topwater lures, worms and jigs early and late. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around structure early and late. SOUTHWEST
Altus-Lugert: July 18. Elevation 3 1/3 ft. below normal and steady. All boat ramps are open. Irrigation canal is closed. Catfish fair to poor. Crappie slow to fair. White bass slow to fair. Walleye slow to fair. Report submitted by Sue Hokanson, Quartz Mountain State Park.
Waurika: July 19. Elevation 1/2 ft. above normal with gates open, water 82-86 and murky to muddy. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on shad, trolling crankbaits and on various baits when surfacing early and late.
