NORTHEAST
Copan: October 6. Elevation normal and water clear. Channel catfish are good below the dam on chicken liver and worms. Crappie fair in deep water in the flooded timber on the north end of the lake on jigs. Fishermen using juglines in the evenings and at night are still reporting fair numbers of blue catfish being caught. Report submitted by Joe Alexander
Eucha: October 6. Elevation 4.6 feet below normal. Water dingy and 67 degrees. Crappie good on jigs and minnows around brush and structure at 12-14 ft. Largemouth fair on plastic baits. Report submitted by Dwight Moore.
Ft. Gibson: October 4 Elevation normal water 74, and clear. Black bass good on crank baits and spinner baits. Catfish good on jug lines and rod and reel using shad and cut baits fishing the flats around the lake. All other fishing is slow. Report submitted by Rick Stafford.
Grand: October 6. Elevation below normal, water 73 and clear. Largemouth bass good on dark- colored baits, jigs, black and blue colors 12 to 15 ft. White bass good on chartreuse and pink rooster tails, small crank baits, small black rattlers, white and green grub at 2 to 8 ft. Catfish good on shrimp, worms. Crappie good on minnows and red and pink jigs, Bobby baits and blue grass, electric chicken 4 to 10 ft. Sunfish and bluegill good on worms and crickets along the banks. Hulah: October 5. Elevation normal, water clear. Flathead and channel catfish are fair below the dam on cut Shad and worms. Anglers using jugs are reporting fair size stringers of blue and channel catfish near the mouth of Hulah Cove. Crappie fair in deeper water near structure while using jigs. Kaw: October 4. Elevation normal, water 71 and stained. The lake has been dropped down for seeding of Japanese millet; extreme caution should be used when operating boats in the upper end of the lake. Even experienced boaters can become stranded on mudflats as they have drastically changed. Bear Creek and Trader's Bend boat ramps are inaccessible, Coon Creek boat ramp is only accessible with small/light boats and trolling motors or push poles should be used to get into the main lake. All other ramps are open and usable. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs at 15-25 ft. under Washunga Bay Bridge. Blue catfish fair on juglines with shad in the Arkansas River arm. Channel catfish excellent on stinkbait, worms and cut bait near rocky banks with quick drop-offs. White bass, striped bass and striped bass hybrids being caught on topwater, bucktails, streamers, sassy shad and drifting live bait below the dam during release. White bass fair on jigs at 1-2 ft. all along the river. Striped bass slow on live shad at 1-2 ft. below Gore Landing. Channel catfish great on cut bait on bottom all along the river. Crappie slow on jigs at 1-2 ft. all along the river. Sunfish and bluegill good on worms at 1-2 ft. in back water and all along the river. Trout excellent fly fishing the surface, on power bait at 1-2 ft. and on power bait and corn on bottom above Gore Landing, in back water and all along the river. Report submitted by D. Altus-Lugert: October 3. Elevation 19 ft. below normal. Catfish fair near Hicks Mtn. Crappie good on minnows near Hicks Mtn. and at floating fishing dock. Sand bass fair to good in deep water. Walleyes are still fair in deep water. Report submitted by Sue Hokanson.

Arbuckle: October 2. Elevation normal, water 77 and stained. Sand bass are off points an moving to deep water dropoffs, using spoons near dropoffs. Crappie are on all brushpiles down to 35ft. Use jigs yellow/white 1/16oz. Bass are on the move. spinnerbaits, crankbaits and dropshot rigs in grass. Channel catfish good on dough baits up Guy Sandy Arm. Report submitted by Jack Melton.
Blue River. October 5. Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. Smallmouth and spotted bass fair on soft plastics and swimbaits around structure in deeper pools and just off current in water falls. Channel catfish excellent on stinkbait, liver, minnows, and worms. Channel catfish are being caught in deeper pools around current. Flathead catfish fair on live sunfish in deep holes. McGee Creek: October 3. Elevation 8 inches below normal, water 80 and clear. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 12-20 ft. around cedar brush off main creek channels. Sardis Lake: September 26. Elevation 1 1/2 ft. below normal, water 85 and murky. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits, swim baits and plastic worms early and late. Texoma: October 4. Elevation normal. Water 82 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair to good from the surface to 15 ft. on surface lures and deep-diving crank baits, in the creek channels. Striped and white bass fair to good from the surface to 20 ft. deep on surface lures, live bait and sassy shad in the creek channel and around the points from Platter Flats to Caney Creek. Channel and blue catfish fair to good on live bait, worms and shrimp from 5 to 20 ft. from Alberta creek to the north. Crappie fair to good on minnows and jigs from 5 to 15 ft. around underwater structures and brush. Sunfish good on worms and shrimp from 5 to 15 ft. around the fishing docks and shoreline riprap.
