Legislation moving forward in Idaho and Virginia will strengthen laws aimed at preventing hunter harassment. Minnesota Asks Feds to Remove Wolves from Endangered Species List Minnesota recently petitioned the U.S. Fish and Wildlife (FWS) to once again remove gray wolves in the Great Lakes region from the Endangered Species List. If successful, the move would allow the state to resume management of its wolf population. However, several anti-hunting groups, including the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), continue to stand in the way.
